TOGETHER for Human Rights

The "TOGETHER for Human Rights" project will develop strategies that utilises people´s different experiences with flight, expulsion and dictatorship to make programmes of political education and human rights education more relevant and effective.

Flight, expulsion and dictatorship have been experienced in European countries at different time and circumstances and from different generations. Subjects like remembrance work, civil rights movement, or refugee work partially show the range of this field. The main objective of the Learning Partnership is to analyze and to discuss these different approaches based upon different experiences, and to develop perspectives for a comprehensive educational concept. The project will identify promising approaches, teaching methods and contents which are transferable in other contexts.

Partners: INTEVAL Ltd., Godalming, United Kingdom; Slovak Refugee Council, Zvolen, Slovakia; Centro per lo sviluppo creativo Danilo Dolci, Palermo, Italy; Videnscenter for Integration (VIFIN), Vejle, Denmark.

Runtime: August 2010 – July 2012.
