The AnDiW project is aiming at decreasing the discrimination of people with disabilities in employment by increasing the opportunity to involve people with disabilities in the labour market.
The specific aim of the project is to supplement the educational and qualification programmes of employers/ managers/ entrepreneurs and students with a
new module about the requirements for the employment of disabled people like:
Target groups are i.e. existing entrepreneurs and managers in different sectors of national economy (in non-formal and non-official study environment), audience and students of different professional study programmes (in formal study environment - colleges and universities), and teaching and training staff for entrepreneurs and enterprises.
AnDiW project is based on previously approved LdV programme pilot project “Ability not Disability in Employment”, acronym - AnDE (Agreement number: 2003-LV/03/B/F/PP-172.002, Project period: 01/11/2003 – 31/12/2005), which aimed to prepare employers theoretically and practically to employ PwD (www.andiw.isma.lv).
